Towards the third quarter of 2008, ABWA decided to hold a General Annual Meeting together with a Committee - Country Representatives - Board Meeting, in Malaysia. Lim Kok Boon of Spritzer Bhd. graciously offered to host a plant visit to Spritzer Bhd. located at his home-town, Taiping, Perak. ABWA then decided to simultaneously hold a Certified Plant Operator training and examination in Penang, Malaysia, a resort city, 1½ hour away from Taiping, followed by a General and Board meeting at the same location, Hotel Evergreen Laurel Penang, the next day. The plant tour was scheduled for 20 March 2009 after lunch, right after the CPO examination. Spritzer kindly arranged for a bus to the plant. It was an unforgettable experience: the hospitality of the Spritzer Team - the location - the modern first-class factory - the food and the entertainment - and most of all the 150 hectares of wild and lush rain-forest where the Spritzer factory is located. By the time we left the plant, the sky was decorated with hundreds of swallows returning home to their nests in the forests, worth thousands of dollars. While watching the sun slowly disappear, a peaceful and quiet moment to reminisce. Thank you Spritzer!
